Founder & owner Richard Oseland is a Patent Professional of 13+ years experience, as a UK Patent Office Examiner & with private corporate practice, as Analyst & Technical Lead.

Richard has a wide range of mechanical subject matter experience in Industry and as Examiner & Search analyst: including in ICE/EV Automotive, Aviation, Batteries, Buildings, Doors & Windows, Exhausts, Gearboxes, HVAC, Lighting, Locks, Mining, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Turbines etc. Before Patents, Richard had a 12yr career in the Mining and Minerals Exploration Industries in Australia, the UK and as a global consultant.

Richard is a UK native & is also a fluent German Speaker, having grown up in Germany as a child.
