• Contact us to arrange a short technical scoping video call to discuss your precise search requirements and grasp the essence of both your innovative concept and your specific search needs - we aim to respond to your search request within 24 hours.
• Patent Explore then conduct a free-of-charge scoping search to establish the crowdedness of the search area(s) and the effort required for the desired search strategy.
• Patent Explore will then provide you with our bespoke, no-obligation quotation to meet your search needs.
• Client review and authorisation decision — no searching will be conducted without your explicit written approval.
The Patent Explore Consultative Search Process — Authorised Search Stage
• Client search approval received – we will contact you to reconfirm the project scope of search, schedule and final delivery date.
• Search is only then initiated by Patent Explore.
• Brief interim results may be provided at the midpoint in the form of a short summary report and search history to help clients track search progress and accuracy – (note this is only usually provided for validity or FTO searches).
• We conduct internal review and QA/QC on all reports for quality and thoroughness of both the search and the analysis.
• A final detailed search report is provided with Patent Explore insights into the key documents found, search areas considered, coverage achieved and a copy of the full search history.
• Client review and feedback.
